Its natural patrimony and its mountain disposition make Vars a place for a privileged stay. Vars and the Forêt Blanche linked skiing area offers 185 kilometres of slopes in a natural land entirely dedicated to all types of winter sports. Practicing through the forest will take you into the heart of an unspoilt countryside. Enjoy all the thrills of skiing down the pistes of the «Forêt Blanche» massif between 1650 meters and 2750 meters height (1100m of uneven). Ski down the 185 kilometres of slopes served by 116 tracks and 51 ski-lifts, 7 snowparks and 34 km of cross country ski trails.     No pushy, loud, crowds found further north. Friendly, comfortable with a great variety of runs and challenges for all levels of skier. Hassle free!
    I love the feel of the place. It has soul. I still ski the top rated resorts in multiple countries despite the mob, but always find time to return to enjoy the focus of Vars. Skiing!
