Moroznaja sopka Skigebiet Guide

Moroznaja sopka is located 7 km from Elizovo (10 minutes from the airport) and 30 minutes by bus from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskij. Moroznaja sopka is the biggest ski-resort at Kamchatka with several runs for beginners and almost-intermediate skiers. Great opportunities for off-piste skiing next to the lift. From the top station at Moroznaja sopka there is an incredible panoramic view to the range of volcanoes north from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskij. They are Aag, Arik, Korjakskij, Avachinskaja, Uglovaja and Kozelskij. There are great places for cross-country skiing in the valleys and elsewhere. Apres-ski is nice and is just nearby. There are also the Paratunka and Termalnyj hot springs areas. Other activities at Moroznaja sopka include snowmobiling and paragliding etc.
