We have been visiting for 15 years and the skiing is some of the best in the world. Many lifts have been replaced with chairlifts and you can access the massive Portes du Soleil circuit from the Folleuise or Corbeau lifts in the village or the new lifts 5 mins away in Chatel. Gabelou & Portes du Soleil. Stunning runs and safe off-piste powder through trees, especially the new Didier Defago run back to the village. Village is 1350 to 1400 meters and the first lift takes you to 1800metres.
