Montriond regular for 10 years. Good access by minibus from Geneva (lots of operators). 5 mins from the Ardent ski lift (regular buses). You don't ski in Motriond, you base yourself there for really good access to the centre of the Portes du Soleil. Enough places to eat for chalet night off (Wednesdays). Book early. Nightlife is in Morzine. Snow is a bit of a lottery (microclimate from Lake Geneva makes it unpredictable). You can always find somewhere to ski; when it's good it's great. Check the webcams!
