Loon Mountain in the United States (New Hampshire State) is a medium sized ski resort with 8 ski lifts (6 chair lifts, 1 surface lifts) that offers skiers an impressive 642 metres (2108 feet) of vertical descent. Loon Mountain has 46 trails. Loon Mountain is best suited to intermediate skiers and snowboarders but there is some terrain for beginners and advanced skiers. There are 35 kilometers (22 miles) of cross country ski trails at Loon Mountain. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park and a half pipe.
