Airolo-Pesciüm The ski area Immersed in the snow The Airolo-Pesciüm ski area is located at the bottom of the St. Gotthard, one of the most important alpine passes, situated in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Thanks to the Airolo highway exit, which is only 200 meters from the over 500 free parking lots of the cable cars, reaching us from Zurich and Milan only takes an hour and a half. Airolo can be easily reached by train as well: a free shuttle bus ensures the connection with the cable cars departure station. In Pesciüm there are: the main restaurant (self- service) with more than 500 seats, the restaurant with table service, a terrace particularly popular from February, and a picnic room. Two more refreshment points on the slopes are reachable by skis, while “La Chièuna”, the new après ski bar is situated at the start of the cable cars.
