Robert Davies:

Rob conceived the idea behind our innovative and unique method for predicting snowfall in New Zealand back in 1998. He is a qualified geophysicist with a PhD from Oxford University and wide experience in Remote Sensing. Rob is responsible for all the computer code that drives snow-forecast and keeps it up to date. In his spare time Rob is a pioneering caver, surfer and snowboarder, though it is unlikely that we will launch cave-forecast.com!! |
Nick Russill: |

Nick was Young Welsh Entrepreneur of the Year in 1998 and has won snow-forecast several technology innovation awards. His role with snow-forecast.com is in the commercial implementation of the project, public relations and affiliations with industry partners. Outside work, Nick is a keen photographer, surfer and snowboarder. Read more about Nick here. |
Rob McDonald: |

Rob McDonald holds a PhD from Cardiff University in Geophysics and has worked in the commercial sector for over 16 years. Rob compiled the original database of our ski resorts and is responsible for quality assurance of our ski content and also consultant on our 8000-strong surf break database for sister website Surf-Forecast.com |
Yar Dmitriev

Yar joined the team in 2004 and is the unseen hand that guides and develops the site when it comes to complex database or script development for delivering the content to your web browser. He is from Russia, but presently lives in Paris. |

Sibel Tan

Alun Davies |
Alun Davies is a businessman based in South Wales with a life long interest in skiing and moutaineeing. He is President of the Alpine Ski Club and has led several expeditions to Iran, Turkey and in 2006 is leading the first expedition in Norway to retrace the exact steps of war hero Jan Baalsrud. |
